7 In European Bus Simulator 2012, you drive around the fictional town of Freyfurt. It's a simulator, and you'll have observe laws, rest periods, sell tickets to passengers and be on time. As well as this 32 bit version, there's a 64 bit available Starting European Bus Simulator 2012, you'll walk to the bus depot, choose your bus then check out the controls. There's a tutorial that takes you through all the controls and shortcuts.
Freyfurt has 450 stops dotted around its streets, over six town areas, with tasks such as school runs to perform. You can create custom routes in an integrated editor. Driving is what you'd expect. Buses are big and ungainly to drive, and keeping out of the way of other traffic is always a big concern. If you enjoy Bus driving, you'll enjoy European Bus Simulator 2012, but despite improved graphics, this is still a game that lacks character.
There's no reason a simulator has to be this dry and humorless. There's a lot of bus-detail in European Bus Simulator 2012, right down to adjusting air conditioning, so it's a treat if you're into that sort of thing. More casual bus fans may find Bus Simulator 2012 overwhelming, and lacking in fun.
OMSI 2 is a simulation game that puts players in the driving seat of a large inner city bus. Players are charged with driving a bus on a selection of different routes through the city of Berlin and anyone who has ever longed to visit this charming city on a kind of busman’s holiday will finally get the change to fulfil their dreams. Getting on Board There are lots of different controls for players of OMSI 2 to master and while this can be a bit tricky at first, it helps to add to the realism of the game and is likely to draw many simulation fans in. There is plenty of variation to the game such as different weather conditions, times of the day and city routes to help keep the game play feeling fresh, although players are sure to notice several bugs such as passengers standing halfway through closed doors and brick walls. On the Buses Anyone who has ever wondered what it would be like to be a bus driver will have the chance to find out by playing OMSI 2.
Despite the strong attention to detail in the game, there are some weird touches that could use a little tweaking such as the passengers that appear to levitate as they wait for the bus to arrive and these elements can detract from what would otherwise be a fairly solid simulation game. OMSI 2 is a highly detailed bus simulator. It does not use SLI technology and is CPU intensive so needs a high end CPU to run effictively.
A OMSI 2 is a highly detailed bus simulator. It does not use SLI technology and is CPU intensive so needs a high end CPU to run effictively. A lot of the previous bugs have been ironed out and for me it rarely if ever crashes. All the cockpit controls can be utilised, you can even switch on the heating! As for device support, TrackIR and Wheel support is also available which is a massive plus! Tutorials are available in the game and it is recommended to look at these before setting off on your own as there are lots of settings you need to know before you should dive in. The menus can be a bit confusing at first, for example if you have TrackIR and find it doesnt work you need to go to the menu in the bottom left and enable it.
One thing that could be better improved is setting up a route or line, there is documentation out ther but this can get confusing so sometimes its easier to just take over an AI bus which is already setup. The camera views are great you got a large selection of views both internal and externally. Really realistic, but I think it could be better. Entire game is not very bugy for me, but crashes sometimes.
I think Well, what can I say? Really realistic, but I think it could be better. Entire game is not very bugy for me, but crashes sometimes. I think it's because the engine is little bit old (OMSI 2 is created by 2-3 people so.). Also, there is not very much things added to it. Extended map, an articulated bus NG272, Citybus NL202. I am a little bit disappointed, but it is VERY detailed and realistic, so I still recommend to give it a try.
